The space is formerly home to a Regal theatre; however, the theatre closed in 2023, following the company’s bankruptcy in late 2022.
The Pad Climbing said the West Sahara Avenue location will feature:
- 45′ rope walls (with crack features and creative terrain)
- 16′ bouldering walls
- Autobelays
- Training boards (with input from founding members)
- Weights and cardio equipment
- Lounge and vanlife amenities
- Youth zones and IG-worthy “fun walls”
According to The Pad Climbing’s website, the projected opening date is sometime in mid to late 2026.
The Pad Climbing has locations across California and in New York. The gym previously had a location in Henderson, but closed in 2025 after it “determined the market and layout weren’t the right fit.”
