Forrest Street shooting suspect arrested in Las Vegas: Bakersfield PD

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A suspect connected to the Forrest Street shooting that severely injured a man on Tuesday was arrested in Las Vegas yesterday, said Bakersfield police.

On Wednesday, July 1, BPD detectives in Las Vegas, with assistance from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, arrested 43-year-old Christian Villasenor of Lancaster on a warrant. Villasenor’s extradition to Kern County is currently underway.
