LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A woman was found shot to death in central Las Vegas on Thursday morning, police said.
Shortly after 3:15 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department received information about an unresponsive woman lying on the sidewalk in the 1200 block of North Eastern Avenue, near East Washington Avenue.

Officers arrived and located the woman, who had what a release called “unknown facial injuries.” Medical personnel arrived and pronounced her dead at the scene.
The LVMPD Homicide Section responded to the scene. With the assistance of the coroner investigator and a close examination of the victim, a secondary wound was found that “appeared to be a gunshot wound.”…
