Dangerous Heat Continues as Storm Chances Return to Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Dangerous heat will continue across the Las Vegas Valley through the weekend as an Extreme Heat Warning remains in effect through Sunday evening. Rising humidity will make the heat even more uncomfortable, and isolated thunderstorms could develop at times through early next week.

Thursday and Friday: Heat intensifies

Thursday’s forecast calls for a high of 110°, followed by 112° on Friday. Humidity will continue to increase, keeping mornings and evenings warm while adding to the daytime heat.

The increase of monsoonal moisture will also kick off a slightly better chance of showers and thunderstorms moving over the region, favoring the local mountains.
