LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Two people were arrested in Los Angeles in connection with a deadly shooting at a Las Vegas apartment complex, according to Metro police.
On Aug. 7, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department arrested 44-year-old April Fontenot. On Aug. 10, the Los Angeles Police Department arrested 19-year-old Jeremiah Fontenot in connection with a June shooting that occurred in the northeast Las Vegas valley.

On June 23, around 4:20 p.m., Metro police responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment complex in the 5300 block of East Craig Road near Las Vegas Boulevard North.
When officers arrived, they found a man inside a vehicle suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim, identified as a 27-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
