Saturday Heat And Wind Peak
Temperatures will climb past 100 degrees by late morning and peak near 105 in the early afternoon, with readings easing slightly afterward. South winds of 3 to 18 mph could gust to 29 mph, while the National Weather Service in Las Vegas warns that stronger, sporadic gusts may develop across parts of the Mojave Desert.
The valley has only about a 2% chance of rain Saturday, keeping the Las Vegas forecast sunny and mostly dry. Storms remain possible over higher terrain in the broader region, where any downpour could bring lightning, heavy rain and sudden wind shifts.
Cooldown Arrives, But Slowly
Saturday night will remain warm, with a low around 84 degrees. Sunday should reach 101, followed by highs near 98 Monday, 96 Tuesday and 95 Wednesday before temperatures rebound to about 99 Thursday and 101 Friday.
The updated outlook is slightly hotter for Saturday than the 104-degree forecast reported by Hoodline on Friday, while the wind threat remains a key concern. Overnight lows should finally dip into the upper 70s early next week, offering more relief than the current run of warm nights.
