LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — After several days of heat warnings, we are finally seeing some relief on the way. It’s a nice way to close out the end of August, as we’ve been above normal when it comes to temperatures.
Isolated to scattered storms remain in Mohave County, with showers moving in from the south heading northeast. In the next 48 hours, an upper-level trough will slide in from the west and will move towards the Four Corners states, continuing widespread shower activity there and slight chances across Southern Nevada.

For Las Vegas, we’re sitting at a 10-20% chance as we enter midweek.
We’ll hang onto high clouds and breezy winds all this week with gusts up to 20-25 mph. Wind speeds will remain under 20 mph here in the valley. Temperatures will continue to dip, with upper 90s dancing around Tuesday through Thursday. The overnight lows will hover in the upper 70s.
