LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — After 20 years at 8 News Now, Denise Valdez will be stepping away from the anchor desk and embracing the next journey in her life.
“After 32 years as a broadcast journalist, it’s time to see what life looks like off the anchor desk. I know I’ll always be a natural storyteller, and now it’s time to tell my own story. I’m convinced the best ones are when you don’t know the ending,” she said.
Denise started working here at Channel 8 in 2006, and during that time she has won five Emmy awards, including two for best anchor in the Pacific Southwest Region.
