A Delta Air Lines flight was forced to make an emergency diversion to Las Vegas after it experienced an “unexpected pressurization issue” after takeoff, a Delta spokesperson confirmed to PEOPLE.
Flight DL2311 departed from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and was heading for Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) when the incident occurred on Sunday, Sept. 6.
In a statement to PEOPLE, the airline said, “As safety comes before everything else at Delta, the flight crew of Delta flight 2311 followed their training and procedures to safely bring the aircraft to optimal altitude when an unexpected pressurization issue occurred.”…
