LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Clark County honored 8 News Now Anchor Denise Valdez as she prepares for retirement after serving the Las Vegas community for 20 years.
On Tuesday, Clark County commissioners announced Sept. 15 as “Denise Valdez Day.”

“20 years she’s been here, which, you know, in local journalism is a lifetime,” Clark County Commissioner Tick Segerblom said. “You never stay here that long, so thank you so much for coming here and sticking around.”
