Central Valley Man Sentenced to Over 7 Years in Prison for a $10 Million Real Estate Fraud Scheme

October 4, 2026 – FRESNO, CA – Gilberto Barron, 26, formerly of Delano and Las Vegas, was sentenced on Monday, September 28, 2026, by U.S. District Judge Jennifer L. Thurston to seven years and 10 months in

prison for conspiracy to commit wire fraud, conspiracy to commit money laundering, and aggravated identity theft relating to his participation in a $10 million real estate fraud scheme, U.S. Attorney Eric Grant announced.
