LAS VEGAS (Gambling911.com) – Canadian tourist, Mitchell Fairbairn, 34, testified on Friday that he drank anywhere from between 30 and 40 beers prior to stealing and harming a beloved flamingo at the aptly named Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel & Casino resort on March 3.
During the early morning hours of the incident, Fairbairn testified he was drunk and sleep-deprived.
Fairbairn, who was staying at the Flamingo Hotel & Casino while attending a construction conference, does not deny removing Peachy from his flamingo habitat but insists he never meant to harm the bird…
