LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man convicted of driving drunk as a teenager and killing three of his friends was arrested again with a blood-alcohol level more than four times the legal limit, according to documents the 8 News Now Investigators obtained Thursday.
Sean Larimer, 36, faces two DUI charges in two separate incidents: one from August 2023 and one from this week, records said.
In August, Metro police responded to a crash at a business on Warm Springs Road near Cimarron Road, documents said. A witness told police he saw a driver, later identified as Larimer, driving around and attempting “to park forward and backwards,” documents said.
Larimer then allegedly drove over a curb, disabling his car, documents said. The witness “then saw Larimer get out of the driver’s seat and [roll] on the ground for approximately one minute, struggling to get up.”
Tests showed Larimer’s blood alcohol level was 0.36 in the hours after the crash, according to documents the 8 News Now Investigators obtained. The legal limit in Nevada is 0.08. Police responded to the incident at 8:15 p.m. The blood draw occurred at 9:30 p.m., documents said.
