A press release from Henderson Police stated that they received reports of a shooting in the 1000 block of Capital Gains Drive around 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. A 14-year-old had been shot and was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead.
The Clark County authorities identified the victim as Aizeya Reyes, a 14-year-old from Henderson, NV. His death was caused by a gunshot wound to his chest and abdomen.The police suspect that the shooter was the victim’s 12-year-old brother, who was arrested and charged with one count of open murder.
