LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A worker fell into a trench and was injured at a construction site Wednesday morning. Clark County Fire Department sent heavy rescue resources to remove the injured worker from the 10-foot-deep trench.
The construction accident occurred near the bridge at W. Tropicana Avenue and Frank Sinatra Drive just before 9:30 a.m. and briefly closed nearby roads as rescue crews arrived at the scene.
The injured worker was transported to UMC Trauma within 40 minutes of the initial rescue call. There is no word on the worker’s condition.
