LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A person was killed following a crash in the south valley on Friday night.
The incident occurred shortly before 6 p.m. near Las Vegas Boulevard and Richmar Avenue.
The pedestrian was crossing Las Vegas Boulevard from the west to the east when an SUV that was traveling south on Las Vegas Boulevard hit the adult pedestrian, Las Vegas Metropolitan police said.
The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene.
Road delays were expected for several hours, police said. Drivers were asked to avoid the area
