Impairment suspected for both drivers involved in fiery Las Vegas crash

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Two drivers involved in a crash, which left one car engulfed in flames, were both suspected to be impaired, Las Vegas Metro police said early Monday.

The crash at the intersection of Ft. Apache Road and Lake South Drive in the southwest valley was reported around 10:30 p.m.

Everyone in the two vehicles was able to escape with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police said the intersection would be closed for several hours.
