Las Vegas police ask for help identifying man who attempted to lure 11-year-old into vehicle

LAS VEGAS ( KLAS ) — Las Vegas police are asking for help identifying a man they say attempted to lure an 11-year-old child into his vehicle.

According to police, on Feb. 15 at around 2:30 p.m., an 11-year-old child was approached by a man who was driving a black 2-door sedan in the 7200 block of Cottonsparrow Street near West Elkhorn Road and U.S. 95.

Police said the man attempted to lure the child into his vehicle while he was inappropriately touching himself.

The child was able to flee to a nearby relative’s home and was unharmed.

Las Vegas police ask that anyone with any information regarding the identity of the suspect or any other incidents that may have occurred reach out to the LVMPD Northwest Area Command Detectives at 702-828-8577.
