Las Vegas woman charged after boyfriend stabbed twice, found lying in a pool of blood in the street

LAS VEGAS ( KLAS ) — A woman accused of stabbing her boyfriend told police she didn’t know why she had blood on her hands when they went to her apartment on Sunday, according to a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department arrest report.

Briana Hardley faces a charge of battery domestic violence with a deadly weapon resulting in substantial bodily harm.

Just after 10 p.m. Sunday, April 7, police found a man lying in a pool of blood on the street in a northwest valley neighborhood, just south of Durango Drive at Grand Teton Drive. The victim, who had called police for help, was next to the open driver’s side door of his vehicle, according to the arrest report. Inside, police found a large amount of blood.

The victim had two stab wounds, one on the right side of his back and one on the right side of his chest. He was transported to UMC Trauma. He had a punctured lung.

Officers checked records and found an expired temporary protective order with an apartment address on Tule Springs Road, so they went to the address because it was close by.
