On Thursday, July 4, A’ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces will look to extend their win streak to eight games as they host the Washington Mystics. Las Vegas is coming off a big 88-69 win over rookie sensation Caitlin Clark and her Indiana Fever squad.
With the win over the Fever, Aces rookie Kate Martin is now 2-0 in the WNBA against Clark, her former Iowa Hawkeyes teammate and good friend. Martin saw 11 minutes of action in Tuesday’s game but failed to score a point, let alone attempt a shot.
Prior to the Aces-Mystics battle, Martin was seen walking into Michelob Ultra Arena with her latest outfit of choice. She most notably rocked a ‘Hello Kitty’ backpack.

WNBA fans, per usual, loved Martin’s attire of choice and took to social media to leave their comments.
After starting the season 6-6, the Aces have turned things around thanks to the return of Chelsea Gray, going 5-0 with her back in the lineup. Despite being a second-round pick, Martin has earned playing time for the reigning champions. She is averaging 3.6 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists.
