San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria traveled to Nevada Saturday to take part in the Kamala Harris for President campaign’s “Weekend of Action” to kick off the Democratic National Convention, according to the mayor’s office.
The Weekend of Action is taking place across battleground states, with many attending to voice support for their preferred candidate including organizers, supporters, and surrogates — like Gloria.
Gloria was scheduled to return to San Diego Saturday night after the day in Nevada.
He will head to Chicago Sunday to take part in the Democratic National Convention as a delegate for Harris.
The convention will be held August 19-22 at the United Center in Chicago.
