Gusty Winds and Cooler Temperatures in Las Vegas, Southern Nevada This Weekend

Las Vegas is experiencing gusty southwesterly winds and cooler-than-normal temperatures this weekend, thanks to an upper-level trough moving through northern California into the Great Basin. The National Weather Service reports that winds will gradually decrease overnight, with temperatures dipping slightly on Sunday as a front moves through the region.

As the week progresses, temperatures will begin to warm, returning to normal by mid-week, with a high probability of triple-digit temperatures starting Tuesday. However, uncertainty surrounds the potential for precipitation later in the week due to a developing low-pressure system off Southern California, the National Weather Service Las Vegas Office stated.
