Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson added another feather to her perpetually enlarging cap after becoming the second unanimous MVP in the history of the WNBA.

Wilson garnered all 67 first-place votes from a media panel to join Houston Comets icon Cynthia Cooper on the erstwhile exclusive list.

The 28-year-old Wilson won her third MVP plum after leading the league in points and blocks with 26.9 and 2.6 per game, respectively. She also set a new record for the highest scoring average in a season. Moreover, she averaged career-bests of 11.9 rebounds and 1.8 steals per outing.

But before her MVP win was announced, Aces forward Alysha Clark made a hilarious appeal to the media panel.

Wilson spotted the tweet and gave a brief response.

“Lolol rellaxxxxxxxxxx,” said the two-time champion.

Obviously, the media panel didn’t heed Clark’s funny request, helping Wilson to capture the MVP trophy convincingly.

Last season, she lost to New York Liberty star Breanna Stewart for the highest individual honor in one of the tightest races ever.
