Fall is a beautiful and unique time of year.

Unfortunately, in Henderson, it sometimes feels like we skip straight from summer to winner.

The good news is, that no matter the weather, you can always enjoy fall activities.

And Henderson has a good one coming up.

Heritage Harvest Festival

The Heritage Harvest Festival happens annually in Henderson. It’s a family-friendly festival with live entertainment, a craft fair with 40+ vendors, children’s activities including a petting zoo, two bounce houses, face painting, train rides, and multiple games for all ages.

There are free food and refreshments available (popcorn and cotton candy). As well as other refreshments for a nominal fee.

Note: All ages are welcome, but children must be accompanied by an adult.

It’s not all just for fun though, there are also:

• A variety of senior health and information booths
• Volunteer opportunities
• Safety information
• Free health screening.
