LAS VEGAS ( KLAS ) — A man faces several charges, including attempted murder, after he allegedly shot his ex-girlfriend’s boyfriend after learning the woman’s child was not his, according to documents 8 News Now obtained.

On Monday, Nov. 11 at around 4:40 p.m., a woman called 911 saying there was a shooting at her ex-boyfriend’s residence. The woman asked for police and hung up the phone.

The woman told police that her ex-boyfriend, Javonne Johnson, 28, shot her current boyfriend after she went to Johnson’s house to pick up her children, documents said. The woman told police that she and Johnson broke up the night before after he went through her phone and found out that one of the children was not his.
