Las Vegas man who allegedly stole over 25 firearms makes initial court appearance

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Las Vegas convicted felon made his initial court appearance Wednesday after allegedly possessing over 25 stolen firearms.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice Francisco Iniguez, 37, possessed 28 stolen firearms on or around Jan. 25. Among the stolen weapons were handguns, rifles, and shotguns. Iniguez, who has prior felony convictions, is prohibited from possessing firearms under federal law.

The DOJ said Iniguez’s past convictions which took place in Los Angeles County include charges of driving or taking a vehicle without consent, identity theft, grand theft and second-degree burglary…
