Pedestrian Fatality Under Investigation After Traffic Collision in Henderson

Henderson Police are investigating a traffic collision from Thursday that took a tragic turn when a pedestrian struck by a vehicle died from their injuries the following day. The incident occurred at the intersection of Boulder Highway and Lake Mead Parkway, according to the City of Henderson’s official website. The pedestrian, who was crossing Boulder Highway outside a designated crosswalk, was struck shortly after 8:20 p.m. by a black Mercedes traveling northbound.

The individual was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, but despite efforts to save their life, they succumbed to their injuries the next day. The Henderson Police are not currently considering either speed or impairment to be contributing factors in this accident. Meanwhile, the authorities have continued to promptly investigate and have disclosed this incident as the fifth traffic-related fatality in the jurisdiction for the year 2025.

As investigators continue to piece together the details of the case, the Clark County Coroner’s Office is responsible for releasing the name of the decedent after notifying their next of kin.
