UNLV Arts Center Unveils Chihulys Stunning Glass Art Donation

The UNLV Learning Center for the Arts campaign has been initiated with a notable donation from Chihuly Studio. Dale and Leslie Chihuly have contributed the “Fire Opal Chandelier” glass art piece, which will be displayed in the atrium of the new center once completed. This $100 million project will replace the site of Grant Hall, a building from 1959 scheduled for demolition within three years. The construction is planned over a flexible five-year period.

The center is designed to transform the educational landscape with two performance venues, studios, gallery spaces, contemporary classrooms, a café, rooftop event space, and more.
