Indian-American community holds vigil in Las Vegas for terror attack victims

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Members of the Indian-American community gathered at the iconic “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign to hold a vigil in memory of the 26 people killed in a recent terror attack in India.

According to authorities, the attack occurred during ongoing militant clashes against Indian rule.

Organizers of the vigil said they chose the location to send a message to locals. “I wanted people to know that it can happen any place, this is a tourist spot, there are thousands of people that come here every minute,” one organizer said…
