Arrest report: Man shot and killed over $100 bill at bus station, bystander later dies

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A man was allegedly shot and killed during a fight over a $100 bill at a Las Vegas bus station, according to an arrest report, and a bystander also died at the scene from a possible medical episode.

Jacob Conrad, 34, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of open murder and robbery with a deadly weapon at the RTC South Strip Transit Center on Gilespie Street, near Sunset Road and Las Vegas Boulevard, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said.

A transit security officer told detectives that he arrived at the transit center late Friday night to begin his shift when he saw Conrad and another man in the parking lot and approached them, LVMPD wrote in their arrest report. The other man said, “I’m about to give this guy one hundred bucks.”…
