Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – A driver has turned themselves in after police she fled the scene after striking a killing a pedestrian early Monday.
The incident happened around 3:20am on Flamingo between Paradise and University Center. Police say the 34-year-old victim, who has yet to be identified, was walking outside of a marked crosswalk when she was struck.
According to Metro, a black 2013 Dodge Challenger was traveling eastbound on Flamingo in the middle travel lane behind another vehicle. As the vehicles approached Palos Verdes Street, the Dodge Challenger moved from the middle lane to the right lane.
