County approves $100K settlement offer for Robert Telles hostile workplace lawsuit

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Clark County commissioners on Tuesday approved a $100,000 settlement offer over allegations that former public administrator and convicted murderer Robert Telles fostered a hostile workplace.

Four plaintiffs, including current public administrator Rita Page Reid, filed the civil lawsuit in federal court last year against Telles and Clark County.

Telles is currently serving a minimum 28-year prison sentence for the murder of Review-Journal reporter Jeff German. Prosecutors accused Telles of killing German in retaliation for reporting on the hostile workplace complaints and an inappropriate relationship with an employee…
