LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Clark County School is investigating if complaints were filed about a crosswalk in front of a Las Vegas high school before a driver hit and killed a student, according to a CCSD spokesperson.
The district’s Chief Communications Officer, Tod Story, spoke with News 3’s Cristen Drummond on Wednesday. He said it’s an ongoing process and district staff are working to trace how or where the community or teachers wrote or voiced their concerns about the crosswalk on Buffalo Drive by Arbor View High School in the northwest valley.
“We get complaints all manner of different ways, and so trying to run those down and see if there are potential avenues that messages could have been sent to us on various formats and platforms,” Story said “So trying to discover what that might look like, and then we will know whether or not we have actually gotten complaints previously.”…
