LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Amazon-owned robotaxi, Zoox, is now back on the roads after a pause and recall to update software in 270 of its driverless cars.
The recall was triggered following a crash between an unoccupied Zoox robotaxi and a passenger car in Las Vegas on April 8. The testing was paused throughout all locations where the vehicles were operating as soon as the company got word of the crash. The company resumed operations days later after all the cars were updated.
