EDC continues successfully despite high winds causing stage closures

New video footage reveals a successful second night of the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), even after multiple stages were temporarily closed due to high winds the previous night.

Earlier, News 3 spoke with Clark County Fire about the safety plans that are crucial for large events like EDC and the importance of monitoring wind conditions.

“Cause there’s a lot of pyrotechnical activities plus all those stage setups. We have to monitor the wind very closely for not only the pyro, but also for the stages to make sure there’s not a collapse hazard,” said a representative from Clark County Fire…
