Man threatens to stab police dog, steals electronics from Las Vegas retail store: police

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man is facing charges after allegedly threatening to stab a police dog and stealing electronics from a retail store in the southwest Las Vegas valley, according to police.

Dominic Trappasse, 41, was charged with resisting a public officer with a deadly weapon, court records show.

Officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to a retail store in the 4100 block of Blue Diamond Road around 1 p.m. on May 14. Police said employees called 911 after spotting Trappasse walking through the store, talking to himself…
