Driver hits Las Vegas court marshal and takes off

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Las Vegas Metro police are searching for a driver who they said hit a court marshal riding his motorcycle and drove away in the northwest valley Monday evening.

Randy Hawkes, a longtime Clark County deputy marshal, required surgery after the crash.

The suspect vehicle, a grey four-door SUV, did not stop at a stop sign, hit Hawkes in the intersection of Campbell and Gowan roads, backed up, and left the scene, according to video obtained by the 8 News Now Investigators…
