LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man is dead after a crash involving a construction vehicle in North Las Vegas Wednesday afternoon.
Just before 2 p.m., NLVPD responded to a report of a crash involving an SUV and a construction vehicle in the area of Cheyenne Avenue and Slit Canyon Street near Decatur Boulevard. When officers arrived they found the driver of the SUV dead, according to police.
Police said the SUV was traveling westbound on Cheyenne Avenue when a construction vehicle entered the SUV’s lane and hit the SUV. The SUV then continued westbound and crossed all eastbound lanes of Cheyenne Avenue before coming to a stop at the North Las Vegas Airport fence…
