3.3-magnitude earthquake recorded northeast of Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A magnitude 3.3 earthquake was recorded a few miles northeast of Las Vegas Thursday morning.

The quake was recorded around 6:52 a.m. in a desert area just east of the Apex, according to the U.S. Geological Survey and Nevada Seismology Lab.

Its epicenter was listed about 24 miles northeast of Downtown Las Vegas and about 19 miles southwest of Valley of Fire State Park…
