Argument leads to deadly shooting in east Las Vegas valley

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man is dead after an argument led to a shooting in the east Las Vegas valley Wednesday, according to police.

Around 2:15 p.m., police responded to a report that somebody was shot in the middle of the street in the 3600 block of Indios Avenue near Twain Avenue and Nellis Boulevard. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound, LVMPD Lt. Robert Price said.

The man was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Preliminary details showed that two men were arguing in the middle of the street about an unknown subject. At some point during the argument, the victim began to walk away, and the suspect pulled out a firearm and shot him, Price said…
