Medicaid fraud probe in Southern Nevada nets 11 convictions, $5.5 million in restitution

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Medicaid fraud investigation in Southern Nevada that resulted in 11 convictions over a four-year period has reached its conclusion, producing $5.5 million in restitution.

Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford said Friday that prosecutions have ended, breaking a fraud ring that dates back to 2017.
