NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. — A recent ambush in Idaho that claimed the lives of two firefighters has reignited discussions on the use of drones to enhance the safety of first responders.

The incident mirrors a tragic event from 2009 in North Las Vegas, where Bryan Hanasz was shot and killed by police after opening fire on first responders attending a fire on Comstock Way.
