LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Bail was set at $100,000 for Isaac Laushaul on Wednesday. He’s the man accused of killing an English bulldog named “Reba” in July 2024.
Reba was found in a sealed plastic tub left by a dumpster on Twain Avenue near Maryland Parkway when the temperature was 110 degrees. She died the following day.
Issac Laushaul Jr., 32, was in court Wednesday morning, where his bail amount was set. As of 1:30 p.m., he was still listed as being in custody at the Clark County Detention Center, according to records.

Laushaul is facing animal abuse charges. According to records, he is scheduled to make his next appearance on Aug. 6. His jury trial is set for the end of August, but his attorney filed paperwork to have the trial moved from Clark County because of the intense media coverage of the dog’s death.
The other person charged in the case, Markeisha Foster, 30, agreed to a plea deal in early June to a lesser charge of attempting to kill an animal. Under the deal, she was released from jail on June 30 after serving seven months…
