The City of Henderson has launched a new traffic enforcement effort called Joining Forces to address speeding. From July 1 to July 20, Henderson Police will assign officers to patrol areas known for speeding and locations with frequent resident complaints, according to the City of Henderson.
The enforcement strategy was created in response to data from the Nevada Highway Traffic Safety Administration. “For more than two decades, speeding has been involved in approximately one-third of all motor vehicle fatalities,” the agency stated.
