Illegal fireworks in your Las Vegas neighborhood? Here’s where to report them

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — It’s the Fourth of July, and fireworks displays are set to light up the sky around the valley. But if you plan to set off illegal fireworks outside of planned displays, police warn it won’t be tolerated.

“As a friendly reminder, possessing and using illegal fireworks in Nevada can result in significant fines and other legal repercussions,” the Nevada State Police said in a social media post. “Be mindful to others, Illegal fireworks can ignite wildfires and cause property damage.”

Officials are reminding the public that while fireworks may seem like harmless fun, they pose serious risks.
