LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Residents and visitors will see an increased number of officers across the Las Vegas valley this weekend as Metro hopes to crack down on DUIs for the holiday.
During the holiday weekend, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department will be conducting a “DUI blitz,” Sergeant Jakob Shallenberger said in a video posted on the department’s Facebook page.
This means there will be additional officers on patrol throughout the weekend, and residents should expect to see increased DUI enforcement across the valley…
