Las Vegas man accused of murder over stolen bike previously served time for shooting

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man accused of murdering another man over a stolen bike faced attempted murder charges for a shooting several years ago, the 8 News Now Investigators have learned.

Calvin Beasley, 39, faces an open murder charge for the June 18 murder of Derek Siano, 27.

That day, officers responded to a 911 call about a shooting in the middle of the street in the 3600 block of Indios Avenue near Twain Avenue and Nellis Boulevard. Beasley allegedly shot and killed Siano, over the theft of a bike, police said…
