Man accused of grabbing gun, murder inside Las Vegas store tested positive for meth

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man accused of taking his victim’s gun and killing him with it inside a Las Vegas business later tested positive for methamphetamine, according to court documents.

Kyle Capucci, 36, who police described as unhoused, faces a charge of murder with the use of a deadly weapon for the death of David Carcamo, 21. Capucci is accused of shooting and killing Carmaco with Carmaco’s gun inside an AutoZone store on Charleston Boulevard near Maryland Parkway on May 23. Carmaco was open carrying the firearm on his hip.

Videos the 8 News Now Investigators obtained Tuesday show a man prosecutors identified as Capucci walking into the store barefoot and without pants. A camera captured Capucci and Carmaco struggling over the gun, but the actual shooting was not recorded…
