Heartless person tied frightened dog to pole on hot concrete outside shelter with temperatures over 100 degrees

In Las Vegas, in a heartbreaking discovery, shelter employees at the Nevada SPCA discovered a dog tied to a pole outside of the shelter on Friday morning as temperatures soared in the valley to over 100 degrees. The dog was found lying on the hot concrete in the blazing sun. He had no water and was visibly overheating and frightened.

Friday’s temperature hah risen to 108 degrees Fahrenheit according to the National Weather Service.

According to the rescue’s Facebook page, when found, the dog was terrified and wouldn’t allow anyone to get near him. In order to make him more comfortable, the team used misters around him to cool his body temperature and pushed a cool bowl of water towards him…
