LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — This afternoon brings a 40% chance of thunderstorms. Pockets of heavy rain, lightning, and gusty outflow winds can be expected.
At midday, the National Weather Service office in Las Vegas issued a Flood Watch for much of Southern Nevada, including Las Vegas, through 11:00 p.m. due to forecast thunderstorms that may cause flooding in poor drainage and urban areas, as well as in some low-water crossings.
